Russia - China - Venezuela - a Strong Alliance ! Estados Unidos ! Detén tu injerencia en Venezuela!

Putin said Russian experts remained in the Latin American country in order to service Russian military hardware, something he said they were contractually obliged to do.

Russia has staunchly backed Maduro, while the US and dozens of other nations have cast their support behind opposition leader Juan Guaido, who invoked the constitution in January to declared himself interim president, asserting that Maduro’s re-election last year was illegitimate.

Putin said US sanctions against Venezuela have hurt ordinary people and warned Washington against using force.

“If we consider the conditions in which millions of people live in Venezuela a question arises whether they are fighting Maduro or the population? We don’t approve but condemn such actions [sanctions], leave alone a military intervention – that would be a catastrophe.
“The crisis in Venezuela should be settled by the Venezuelan people,” said Putin.

Fulgencio Batista - Cuba ! Ricardo Rosselló replaced 2019 by Wanda Vázquez Garced - Puerto Rico - Remember these names !

Fulgencio Batista

in full Fulgencio Batista y Zaldívar, (born January 16, 1901, Banes, Cuba—died August 6, 1973, Marbella, Spain), soldier and political leader who twice ruled Cuba—first in 1933–44 with an efficient government and again in 1952–59 as a dictator, jailing his opponents, using terrorist methods, and making fortunes for himself and his associates.

Independence for Puerto Rico

In the face of the massive protests, the U.S. rulers and their junior partners on the island have come to the conclusion that Gov. Ricardo Rossell must go — whether by resigning, impeachment or in handcuffs. He resigned and was replaced by

Wanda Vázquez Garced

Protesters chanted “Ricky, resign, and take the board with you,” reflecting their hatred for the U.S.-imposed fiscal board that has inflicted deeper anti-working-class measures. The capitalist rulers hope that by replacing Rosselló, they can keep squeezing working people to pay the $74 billion debt to wealthy bondholders and raking in superprofits off Puerto Rico’s cheap labor and natural resources.
Working people in Puerto Rico know that it will take more than changing the face in La Fortaleza — the governor’s house — to resolve the problems they face. They are beginning to see their own power. Many ask: Is it possible to stand up to the U.S. government? Can we be an independent nation?
The Cuban Revolution shows it can be done. In 1959 working people overturned the U.S.-backed Fulgencio Batista dictatorship. At the time the corporations, utilities and best land were owned by U.S. capitalists.
Cuban revolutionaries, led by Fidel Castro, knew they could never achieve the far-reaching political and economic changes working people needed simply by removing Batista. They’d just end up with a “kinder, gentler” U.S. puppet. For any lasting change, capitalist rule had to be replaced by a government of workers and farmers. The recent protests in Puerto Rico prove that working people there are entirely capable of a similar transformation.

A referendum of the status of Puerto Rico was held on November 3, 2020, concurrently with the general election. It was announced by Puerto Rico Governor Wanda Vázquez Garced on May 16, 2020. This was the sixth referendum held on the status of Puerto Rico, with the previous one having taken place in 2017. This was the first referendum with a simple yes-or-no question, with voters having the option of voting for or against becoming a U.S. state. The New Progressive Party (PNP), of whom Vázquez is a member, supports statehood, while the opposition Popular Democratic Party (PDP) opposes it. The referendum was non-binding, as the power to grant statehood lies with the US Congress. The referendum was not approved by the US Department of Justice. The party platforms of both the Republican Party and the Democratic Party have affirmed for decades Puerto Rico's right to self-determination and to be admitted as a state, at least in theory, but individual Republican legislators have been more skeptical.

According to Puerto Rican Senate Bill 1467, which placed the referendum on the ballot, voting "No" on the referendum would mean that a seven-member commission would be appointed to negotiate with the federal government for the free association or independence of Puerto Rico. Based on the completed unofficial election night count, statehood won the referendum 52.34%–47.66%.

U.S. President John F. Kennedy - JFK - after the Cuban Disasters - and a strong GDR , he focused on Vietnam to stop Communism and finally failed !!!

After the failure of the Bay of Pigs Invasion, the construction of the Berlin Wall, and the Cuban Missile Crisis, President Kennedy believed that another failure on the part of the United States to gain control and stop communist expansion would fatally damage U.S. credibility with its allies and his own reputation. Kennedy was thus determined to "draw a line in the sand" and prevent a communist victory in the Vietnam War.

He told James Reston of The New York Times immediately after his Vienna meeting with Khrushchev, "Now we have a problem making our power credible and Vietnam looks like the place."

Vienna Summit - June 1961

VIETNAM WAR: U.S. involvement escalated under President John F. Kennedy through the MAAG program from just under a thousand military advisors in 1959 to 16,000 in 1963.[63][32]:131 By 1963, the North Vietnamese had sent 40,000 soldiers to fight in South Vietnam.[62]:16 North Vietnam was heavily backed by the USSR and the People's Republic of China. China also sent hundreds of PLA servicemen to North Vietnam to serve in air-defense and support roles.[32]:371–4[64]

By 1964, 23,000 US advisors were stationed in South Vietnam. In the Gulf of Tonkin incident in August, a U.S. destroyer was alleged to have clashed with North Vietnamese fast attack craft. In response, the U.S. Congress passed the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution and gave President Lyndon B. Johnson broad authority to increase American military presence in Vietnam. Johnson ordered the deployment of combat units for the first time and increased troop levels to 184,000.[63] Past this point, the People's Army of Vietnam (PAVN) (also known as the North Vietnamese Army or NVA) engaged in more conventional warfare with U.S and South Vietnamese forces. Despite little progress, the United States continued a significant build-up of forces. U.S. Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara, one of the principal architects of the war, began expressing doubts of victory by the end of 1966.[32]:287 U.S. and South Vietnam forces relied on air superiority and overwhelming firepower to conduct search and destroy operations, involving ground forces, artillery, and airstrikes. The U.S. also conducted a large-scale strategic bombing campaign against North Vietnam and Laos.

The Tet Offensive of 1968 showed the lack of progress with these doctrines. With the VC and PAVN mounting large-scale urban offensives throughout 1968, U.S domestic support for the war began fading. The Army of the Republic of Vietnam (ARVN) expanded following a period of neglect after Tet and was modeled after U.S doctrine. The VC sustained heavy losses during the Tet Offensive and subsequent U.S.-ARVN operations in the rest of 1968, losing over 50,000 men.[32]:481 The CIA's Phoenix Program further degraded the VC's membership and capabilities. By the end of the year, the VC insurgents held almost no territory in South Vietnam, and their recruitment dropped by over 80% in 1969, signifying a drastic reduction in guerrilla operations, necessitating increased use of PAVN regular soldiers from the north.[65] In 1969, North Vietnam declared a Provisional Revolutionary Government in South Vietnam in an attempt to give the reduced VC a more international stature, but the southern guerrillas from then on were sidelined as PAVN forces began more conventional combined arms warfare. By 1970, over 70% of communist troops in the south were northerners, and southern-dominated VC units no longer existed.[66] Operations crossed national borders: Laos was invaded by North Vietnam early on, while Cambodia was used by North Vietnam as a supply route starting in 1967; the route through Cambodia began to be bombed by the U.S. in 1969, while the Laos route had been heavily bombed since 1964. The deposing of the monarch Norodom Sihanouk by the Cambodian National Assembly resulted in a PAVN invasion of the country at the request of the Khmer Rouge, escalating the Cambodian Civil War and resulting in a U.S.-ARVN counter-invasion.

In 1969, following the election of U.S President Richard Nixon, a policy of "Vietnamization" began, which saw the conflict fought by an expanded ARVN, with U.S. forces sidelined and increasingly demoralized by domestic opposition and reduced recruitment. U.S. ground forces had largely withdrawn by early 1972 and support was limited to air support, artillery support, advisers, and materiel shipments. The ARVN, buttressed by said U.S. support, stopped the first and largest mechanized PAVN offensive during the Easter Offensive of 1972. The offensive resulted in heavy casualties on both sides and the failure of the PAVN to subdue South Vietnam, but the ARVN itself failed to recapture all territory, leaving its military situation difficult. The Paris Peace Accords of January 1973 saw all U.S forces withdrawn; the Case–Church Amendment, passed by the U.S Congress on 15 August 1973, officially ended direct U.S military involvement.[67]:457 The Peace Accords were broken almost immediately, and fighting continued for two more years. Phnom Penh fell to the Khmer Rouge on 17 April 1975 while the 1975 Spring Offensive saw the capture of Saigon by the PAVN on 30 April; this marked the end of the war, and North and South Vietnam were reunified the following year.

Sowjetische Raketen auf Kuba ! Eine Bedrohung der USA !!! - Amerikanische Raketen in Polen ! Eine Bedrohung Russlands und der GUS Staaten !!!

ESTADOS UNIDOS ! ESTAMOS A SU PUERTA - NUNCA LO OLVIDES! NUNCA !

Puerto Ricans have been citizens of the United States since 1917, and can move freely between the island and the mainland. As it is not a state, Puerto Rico does not have a vote in the U.S. Congress, which governs the territory with full jurisdiction under the Puerto Rico Federal Relations Act of 1950. Puerto Rico's sole congressional representation is through one non-voting member of the House called a Resident Commissioner. As residents of a U.S. territory, American citizens in Puerto Rico are disenfranchised at the national level, do not vote for the president or vice president of the U.S.,and in most cases do not pay federal income tax. Congress approved a local constitution in 1952, allowing U.S. citizens of the territory to elect a governor. Puerto Rico's future political status has consistently been a matter of significant debate.

Beginning in the mid 20th century, the U.S. government, together with the Puerto Rico Industrial Development Company, launched a series of economic projects to develop Puerto Rico into an industrial high-income territory. It is classified by the International Monetary Fund as a developed territory with an advanced, high-income economy; it ranks highly on the Human Development Index, ahead of the rest of Latin America. The main drivers of Puerto Rico's economy are manufacturing (primarily pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, and electronics) followed by the service industry (namely tourism and hospitality).

TASS : Trump expects US election issue to be taken to Supreme Court

"Ultimately I have a feeling judges are going to have to rule," Trump said

US President Donald Trump - © AP Photo/Alex Brandon

WASHINGTON, November 6. /TASS/. The litigation about the current presidential election in the United States is very likely to be taken to the US Supreme Court, President Donald Trump told reporters in the White House.

"It’s going to end up, perhaps, at the highest court in the land. We’ll see. But we think there’ll be a lot of litigation, because we can’t have an election stolen that way," the US leader said.
Trump said he had repeatedly expressed his concerns about the practice of mailing ballots before the 2020 Election Day.
"I have been talking about this for many months with all of you. And I’ve said very strongly that mailing ballots are going to end up being a disaster," he continued.
In his words, mailing ballots has already caused problems during some minor elections in the US.
"This is a large-scale version, and it’s getting worse and worse every day," the US president said.
"We can’t let that happen to the United States of America. It’s not a question of who wins: Republican, Democrat, Joe [Biden] or myself. We cannot let that happen to our country, we can’t be disgraced by having something like this happen," Trump said.

"So it will be hopefully cleared up, maybe soon, I hope soon. But it will hopefully go thorough process, a legal process," he added. "But ultimately I have a feeling judges are going to have to rule."

On November 3, American citizens headed to the polls to elect 435 representatives to the House, 35 senators out of 100 to the Senate, and the President and Vice President of the United States. The November race for the White House pits Democratic contender Joe Biden and his running mate Kamala Harris against incumbent US President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence of the Republican Party. In addition, voters decided on 13 US state and territorial governorships, and numerous other local elections were held. The winner of the presidential race is still not known. According to estimates, made by major American TV channels, Joe Biden is in the lead. In order to win the US presidential race, a candidate needs 270 out of 538 electoral votes. Trump has filed lawsuits claiming irregularities in the battleground states of Michigan, Pennsylvania and Georgia and has demanded a recount in Wisconsin, which is bound to lead to a contested outcome.

According to AP calculations, Trump has 214 electoral votes right now, while his Dem rival Joe Biden has 264.

Turkey and the United Arab Emirates have found themselves on the opposing sides of many Middle East conflicts from the Syrian civil war, the coup in Egypt to the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi. There's also an emerging 'anti-Turkey' alliance among the Gulf nations. The UAE's foreign minister accused Turkey of 'interference in the affairs of Arab countries,' and most recently, a leading Saudi business leader called for the boycott of 'everything Turkish.' So why are these Arab countries uniting against Ankara?

US Should Stop Provocations in South China Sea: FM Spokesman

The United States should stop provocations in the South China Sea, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian said in Beijing on Friday.

China’s new sanctions against American defence companies have the potential to cause major damage to the US military

By Tom Fowdy, a British writer and analyst of politics and international relations with a primary focus on East Asia.

Beijing has fired a warning to the US over its arms sales to Taiwan with a new round of sanctions. The move is symbolic for now, but if China wants to get tough it really could hammer the supply chains of the impacted companies. On Monday afternoon, China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Beijing would be placing sanctions on a number of US firms and linked individuals over arms sales to Taiwan, with Washington having approved a record sale worth around $5 billion to the island the previous week.

The listed companies included Lockheed Martin, Boeing Defense and Raytheon, striking at the heart of what is often referred to as ‘America’s Military Industrial Complex’. However, what the specific measures mean, how they will be implemented and what their impact might be remains to be seen.

At first glance, these sanctions look symbolic; such military firms do not pursue business in China, and do not have market traction in America. One exception is Boeing’s civilian wing, which stated in an email it was still committed to the Chinese market.

On the other hand, this is not to say that such sanctions will not have strategic implications. First of all, China has an overwhelming dominance on the ‘rare earth’ materials required for US defence manufacturing, and should these sanctions really look to bite, they could have a major impact on the supply chain.

Secondly, even if the measures are only symbolic, it is nonetheless a warning shot from Beijing that it may retaliate further against US actions in the future.
What are ‘rare earths’? And why do they matter? The name refers to 17 elements which are used primarily in the manufacture of all kinds of items, including electronics, vehicles and of course military equipment.

Naturally, these resources form the bedrock of many supply chains around the world. China has a near total monopoly over this industry; a study found that the country “produced roughly 85 percent of the world’s rare earth oxides and approximately 90 percent of rare earth metals, alloys, and permanent magnets”. In 2018, up to 80 percent of America’s own rare earth imports came from China; Washington knows this and is scrambling for contingencies.

The strategic implications of this are quite clear; the US military relies deeply on materials imported from China to manufacture its equipment. If Beijing wanted, these sanctions could hammer the supply chains of the impacted firms.

Military cooperation between Israel and China

Chinese_Embassy_Tel_aviv
Chinese Embassy Tel Aviv
Haifa base commander Brig. Gen. Eli Sharvit welcomes RADM Yang Jun-Fei to Israel China and Israel have developed close strategic military links with each other. Bilateral military relations have evolved from an initial Chinese policy of secret non-official ties to a close strategic partnership with the modern and militarily powerful Israel.
Israel and China began extensive military cooperation as early as the 1980s, even though no formal diplomatic relations existed.

Israel has provided China with military assistance, expertise and technology. According to a report from the United States-China Economic and Security Review Commission, "Israel ranks second only to Russia as a weapons system provider to China and as a conduit for sophisticated cutting edge military technology, followed by France and Germany."

Long before diplomatic relations were established in 1992 Israel had been selling arms to China. The use of military sales as a means of achieving foreign-policy goals was neither new nor unprecedented in Israeli foreign policy to promote its interests. Israel sold technology to upgrade Chinese tanks and planes in the 1980s. IAI Lavi and UAV technology seems to have been sold to China. Expertise in fitting western equipment in Soviet made hardware helped in modernization of Chinese army and air force, this way Chinese defense modernization complemented Israel's need of cash to fund its domestic made high-tech weapons programs.

Tiananmen events offered an additional incentive for military relationship, funded in Israel's reputation as reliable arms supplier. The sanctions imposed by the Western countries almost froze Chinese access to advanced military and dual-use technologies. Israel sought to benefit from this situation and become China's back door to western technology.

Israel was ready to sell China the Phalcon, an Israeli airborne early-warning radar system (AWACS), until the United States forced it to cancel the deal.[68] Some estimate that Israel sold arms worth US$4 billion to China in this period.[63][64]

China had looked to Israel for the arms and military technology it could not acquire from the United States, Europe and Russia.[18] Israel is now China's second-largest foreign supplier of arms after Russia with China having purchased a wide array of military equipment and technology, including communications satellites.[63] China is a vital market for Israel's aerospace and defense industry. Due to Israel's recognition of China, Israel has also limited its cooperation with Taiwan in order to foster closer ties with Mainland China.

The U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency compiled evidence that Israel had transferred missile, laser and aircraft technology to China in the 1990s. On 19 October 1999, the Defense Minister of China, Chi Haotian, flew to Israel and met with Ehud Barak, then-Prime Minister and Defense Minister of Israel. They reached several high-level agreements, including a $1 billion Israeli-Russian sale of military aircraft to China.[69] On 25 May 2011, the Commander of the People's Liberation Army Navy, Admiral Wu Shengli, made an official visit to Israel, meeting with Barak and Rear Admiral Eliezer Marom.

On 14 August 2011, General Chen Bingde, Chief of the People's Liberation Army General Staff Department, made an official visit to Israel, scheduled for three days. He came a guest of the Israeli Chief of Staff Benny Gantz, who received him with an honor guard at the Kirya military headquarters in Tel Aviv.[73] The visit came after Defense Minister Ehud Barak's visit to China in June, the first visit of a defense minister to the country in a decade. Bingde's visit was part of a tour that included stops in Russia and Ukraine.

On 13 August 2012, vessels from the PLA Navy's 11th escort fleet, led by Rear Admiral Yang Jun-fei, anchored at Israel's Haifa naval base for a four-day goodwill visit to mark 20 years of cooperation between the Israel Defense Forces and the PLA. The vessels and crewmen were welcomed by the Haifa base commander, Brigadier General Eli Sharvit, and Chinese embassy officials.[74] In July 2018, 180 acres of the Northern port in Haifa were transferred to Shanghai International Port Group Co. (SIPG) for a 25-year period of management. This sparked a heated discussion in the Israeli press and the academy, as well as a special discussion by the Israeli cabinet. It also came up in discussions between US National Security Advisor John Bolton and Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu when they met on January 7, 2019. However economically insignificant it may be for both China and the US, the Haifa port could become a critical battleground in a new Cold War between the two superpowers. (source:Wikipedia)

North Korea threatens to remilitarize DMZ | DW News

Western Propaganda

Relations between North and South Korea remain tense a day after Pyongyang threatened to restart military exercises in the demilitarized zone bordering South Korea. Citing the army, state media reported that troops would be sent to the industrial park in the border town of Kaesong and to the Kumgang Mountains on the east coast. Guard posts in the demilitarized buffer zone between the two countries will be reestablished, it added. Tensions on the Korean peninsula hit a new low Tuesday when Pyongyang blew up its joint liaison office with Seoul. Kim Yo Jong, the powerful sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, called out the South for making a "tactless and sinister proposal" in its offer to send an envoy, according to a statement reported by North Korean news agency KCNA. Up until a year ago, the two had been making steps towards a more peaceful co-existence - there's little sign of any of that now.

The Chinese mainland's national security authorities' Thunder 2020 Crackdown has unearthed hundreds of espionage cases involving spies from Taiwan, Chinese national broadcaster China Central Television (CCTV) reported on Sunday.

The activities included attempts to disrupt cross-Straits exchanges, sponsor Hong Kong separatists and instigate trouble in diplomatic ties between China and other countries.

The national security authorities carried out a Thunderbolt 2018 crackdown two years ago, which busted more than 100 espionage cases.
A CCTV program revealed the details of a case in which "Taiwan Independence" forces instigated a Taiwan resident to engage in espionage work and intervene in Hong Kong affairs.

At the end of August 2019, Taiwan resident and businessman Li Mengju was examined by the Shenzhen National Security Bureau when he left Shenzhen. Photos and videos related to a Chinese People's Armed Police Force assembly in Shenzhen and some anti-China or destabilizing Hong Kong propaganda flyers were found in his luggage and on his cellphones.

In addition to his status as a businessman, Li is also a director of the "Taiwan Independence" organization "Taiwan United Nations Association for the Advancement of Taiwan," according to a police officer from the National Security Department of Guangdong Province.

Connected to overseas anti-China politicians, the "Taiwan United Nations Association for the Advancement of Taiwan" has regularly organized visits all over the world by its members, who have clamored for Taiwan to join the United Nations and the World Health Organization.

According to Li's confession, in 2001, when he was studying in the United States, he often went to a place known as Taiwan Guild Hall in New York. He also knew many Taiwan green campers, such as Xiao Xihui, known as the "Taiwan independence magician."
"I'm sorry to refuse, so I took this opportunity to learn more about their thoughts. Whether it was imperceptible, I was drawn into this circle," Li said.

Azerbaijan imposes martial law from September 28

BAKU, September 27. /TASS/. Martial law will be imposed in Azerbaijan from September 28 under a decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev on Sunday, presidential aide Khikmet Gajiyev told journalists.

"Martial law will be imposed on the entire territory of Azerbaijan from 00:00 on September 28," he said.
Apart from that, a curfew will be imposed in a number of regions and cities, including Baku. In will be in place from 21:00 to 06:00 local time.
The decree was endorsed by the parliament on Sunday.

The situation in Nagorno-Karabakh escalated on September 27, when Azerbaijan said its positions had come under extensive fire from Armenia. Armenia, in turn, said the Azerbaijani army had staged ab offensive in the direction of Nagorno-Karabakh. It said a number of settlements in Nagorno-Karabakh, including its administrative center Stepanakert, had come under shelling by Azerbaijan. Both sides report casualties, including among civilians. Armenia’s authorities have imposed martial law and announced mobilization of reservists.

The conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan over the highland region of Nagorno-Karabakh, a disputed territory that had been part of Azerbaijan before the Soviet Union break-up, but primarily populated by ethnic Armenians, broke out in February 1988 after the Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Region announced its withdrawal from the Azerbaijan Soviet Socialist Republic. In 1992-1994, tensions boiled over and exploded into large-scale military action for control over the enclave and seven adjacent territories after Azerbaijan lost control of them. Talks on the Nagorno-Karabakh settlement have been ongoing since 1992 under the OSCE Minsk Group, led by its three co-chairs - Russia, France and the United States.
